Well, it seemed there is always more when an artist works. Well, we tagged along and decided to gt it all stages down to share with you. What we enjoy with this creativity is that it keeps the teenagers involved and excited. It is great to see them looking for costume instead of looking for other things that may lead them to destructive behavior. So let’s see more with regards to Emy Mahakala Buddhist Deity Protection Pumpkin.
Well, this year the activity of carving a pumpkin is taking a longer process. I thought we were finished upon completing the drawing and light up the pumpkin. But oh my goodness, I see painting and brushes being placed on the table. Wow, I did not think it would be to that extreme. We sure are going in depth to share with the Halloween visitors.
OK, so we had time to do an awesome painting work. I know the time taken is well merited as it is a gift of protection. Sometimes when we do not understand the work being done we do take it for granted. It is a form of protection even though it is on a pumpkin, it is the thought that counts.
So the painting continues and there was another surprise. I was not aware that the full works will be done, there were the skull crown to be put on top of the Mahakala. Amazing these artist are creative indeed.
We had everything, nothing was missing for the occasion, twas fully dressed and protected. So I was waiting patiently to see the full arrangement and was well worth the wait. I am not much for all these things but working with these artist is impressive- quite detailed. Well, I hope you are as impressed as I was with the finale. I would have been scared if I had seen this alone but glad I saw how it was made and why it looks this way.
What was the most impressive pumpkin you saw this year? We would be delighted to hear what you saw or leave us a picture below, exciting!
