I touched based with nature feeling the sunshine and felt the wind breezing by. It was considered safe compared to how it is now. Oh some days I would be fortunate to get a ride if my friends were on time. Those walking days sure kept us slender and in shape. The best times were meeting different friends on the way home and we would have some very interesting topics. It is so great to remember all the girls we would walked with and talked with until we said goodbye. Great walking down memory lane and spice in life.
It is great to remember those day and a reminder to permit my teen to enjoy those changes and grow with the challenges and celebrate life with love and joy as they overcome each obstacles. Encourage them to explore nature and enjoy sports and outdoor activities.

My Habanero Pepper & Onion Sauce
- 2 Habanero chile pepper
- 4 onions thinly sliced
- several spice seed
The seed in a pepper is the spice of the pepper. If it burns your hand while cutting, it will be hot and spicy. It is best to use a glove while cutting pepper. You cut or sliced into whatever size you wish. The onions should be thinly sliced or cubed. Some add the onions and chopped pepper into vinegar and water to taste. But I cooked the onions in a bit of hot water for a minute or two. Then add to the mixture of water and vinegar. Next add the pepper and spice seed and oregano. Tasty as well.
My Habanero & Onion sauce
2 Habanero chile
4 cebolla picado
It is not easy to see all the peer pressure and obstacles teens are confronted with each day. A parents we need to provide the foundation and remain as a friend and guide them. We provide support for their endeavors and understand their need for changes. Speaking with them is vital to have a conversation. Listening is just as important as they discover new paths in life. Allowing them to see the pros and cons in life and to be aware of the consequences of their decisions is necessary. We need to stand beside them in all walks of life of challenges and adventures.
