Enjoy the flavorful and tasty Pressure Cooker Strawberry Jam no Pectin with the family.
I really thought I was ready to publish only to realize that I did not save my post. Well, it is very delicious so I must post for you to enjoy. I have been busy cooking and not enough time to post. Yeah, filling the tummy, lol. How are you doing, the weather is just so lovely. There are times when that sweet tooth is asking for something and you have not been to the store. Well, there is always fruits in our home. We washed and cleaned them but that is what makes it nicer, lol. We cut them in halves and we finished quickly with all the excitement of making our own home made jam. We gathered the ingredients and we got the timer so we know who will be helping to mix the jam.
Finally, we emptied the fruit into the pressure cooker. WOW, the strawberries look and smell so good. Just enjoy the colors of the season, don’t you? Keeps us so healthy. Yummy!
After pressure cooking for 20 minutes it changes color as it gets softer and mushy.

Finally boiling point of 220 degrees Fahrenheit (105 centigrade)
- 1 lb strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup sugar (optional)
- 2 oz lemon juice
- Wash and clean strawberries. Cut in half and add to pressure cooker with other ingredients.
- Stir until sugar dissolve.
- Cover pot and pressure for 20 minutes. Let release steam by itself (leave for 10 mins).
- Uncover and take heat measurement.
- Bring mixture to a boil, keep stirring until reaches 220 degrees F. (105 centigrade)
- Transfer to hot sterile jars, leaving ¼ to ½ inches space on top and seal.
- Process in water bath.
- However, if jam is going to be eaten immediately, it goes in the refrigerator and/or on the table.
Olla a presión de Mermelada de Fresa sin pectina
1 libra de fresas, cascadeas
1 taza de azúcar (opcional)
2 onzas de jugo de limón
Lave y limpie las fresas. Corta por la mitad y añadir a la olla a presión con otros ingredients.
Revolver hasta disolver el azúcar.
Cubrir la olla de presión durante 20 minutos. Deje que suelte vapor.
Ponga la mezcla a hervir mientras revulve hasta que llegue a 220 grados (105 grados centígrados)
Traslado a frascos estériles, dejando 1/4 a 1/4 pulgadas entre la tapa y el sello.
Proceso en baño de agua.
Sin embargo, si la mermelada se va a comer inmediatamente, va en el refrigerador o en la mesa.
